La comparaci\u00f3n cuantitativa se realiz\u00f3 midiendo las relaciones se\u00f1al-ruido (SNR) y contraste-ruido (CNR) en las mismas im\u00e1genes de RM cerebral ponderadas en T2 (T2W), T2-FLAIR y eco de gradiente (GRE) de cada paciente \u2014im\u00e1genes nativas y tras la reducci\u00f3n de ruido\u2014 en regiones de inter\u00e9s id\u00e9nticas.\r\n\r\nA continuaci\u00f3n, se realizaron comparaciones cualitativas: tres radi\u00f3logos veterinarios experimentados evaluaron de forma independiente las series de im\u00e1genes T2W, T2-FLAIR y GRE de cada paciente. Las im\u00e1genes nativas y las im\u00e1genes con reducci\u00f3n de ruido se evaluaron por separado, con los observadores cegados al tipo de imagen que estaban valorando. Para cada tipo de imagen \u2014nativa y con reducci\u00f3n de ruido\u2014 y para cada tipo de secuencia de pulso, asignaron una calificaci\u00f3n subjetiva de granularidad, contraste y calidad global.\r\n\r\nEn todas las series de im\u00e1genes evaluadas (T2W, T2-FLAIR y GRE), los valores de SNR de la sustancia gris cortical, la sustancia blanca subcortical, la sustancia gris profunda y la c\u00e1psula interna fueron estad\u00edsticamente significativamente mayores en las im\u00e1genes tratadas con el algoritmo de reducci\u00f3n de ruido mediante DL que en las im\u00e1genes nativas. Del mismo modo, para todos los tipos de series de im\u00e1genes evaluadas, los valores de CNR entre la sustancia gris cortical y la sustancia blanca, y entre la sustancia gris profunda y la c\u00e1psula interna, fueron significativamente mayores en las im\u00e1genes tratadas con el algoritmo de DL que en las im\u00e1genes nativas.\r\n\r\nEl an\u00e1lisis cualitativo confirm\u00f3 estos resultados, con puntuaciones generalmente mejores de granularidad, contraste y calidad global para las im\u00e1genes tratadas con el algoritmo de reducci\u00f3n de ruido mediante DL.\r\n\r\nEn este estudio, este algoritmo de reducci\u00f3n de ruido mediante DL basado en DICOM redujo el ruido en im\u00e1genes de RM cerebral canina y felina de 1,5 T, y mejor\u00f3 la calidad de imagen percibida
