Cette \u00e9volution n\u00e9cessite l'utilisation de techniques d'imagerie non invasives pour surveiller la croissance de la tumeur, car les mesures au pied \u00e0 coulisse utilis\u00e9es pour les tumeurs sous-cutan\u00e9es ne sont plus applicables.\r\n\r\nLe contr\u00f4le du volume tumoral ou son suivi est souvent impr\u00e9cis. Il est \u00e9galement difficile d'attribuer les changements de poids \u00e0 la progression de la tumeur ou \u00e0 d'autres facteurs de confusion. L'un des principaux crit\u00e8res d'\u00e9valuation dans ces \u00e9tudes est l'\u00e9valuation du volume tumoral, qui permet aux chercheurs de surveiller non seulement la croissance de la tumeur, mais aussi la r\u00e9ponse aux traitements au fil du temps.
