A compara\u00e7\u00e3o quantitativa foi realizada atrav\u00e9s da medi\u00e7\u00e3o das raz\u00f5es sinal-ru\u00eddo (SNR) e contraste-ru\u00eddo (CNR) nas mesmas imagens de RM cerebral ponderadas em T2 (T2W), T2-FLAIR e eco de gradiente (GRE) em cada paciente (imagens nativas e ap\u00f3s redu\u00e7\u00e3o de ru\u00eddo), em regi\u00f5es de interesse id\u00eanticas.\r\n\r\nForam depois realizadas compara\u00e7\u00f5es qualitativas: tr\u00eas radiologistas veterin\u00e1rios experientes avaliaram independentemente as s\u00e9ries de imagens T2W, T2-FLAIR e GRE de cada paciente. As imagens nativas e as imagens com redu\u00e7\u00e3o de ru\u00eddo foram avaliadas separadamente, com os observadores sem conhecimento do tipo de imagem que estavam a analisar. Para cada tipo de imagem (nativa e com redu\u00e7\u00e3o de ru\u00eddo) e para cada tipo de sequ\u00eancia de pulso, atribu\u00edram uma classifica\u00e7\u00e3o subjetiva de granulosidade, contraste e qualidade global.\r\n\r\nEm todas as s\u00e9ries de imagens testadas (T2W, T2-FLAIR e GRE), as SNRs da subst\u00e2ncia cinzenta cortical, da subst\u00e2ncia branca subcortical, da subst\u00e2ncia cinzenta profunda e da c\u00e1psula interna foram estatisticamente significativamente mais elevadas nas imagens tratadas com o algoritmo de redu\u00e7\u00e3o de ru\u00eddo por DL do que nas imagens nativas. De forma semelhante, em todos os tipos de s\u00e9ries de imagens testados, as CNRs entre subst\u00e2ncia cinzenta cortical e subst\u00e2ncia branca, bem como entre subst\u00e2ncia cinzenta profunda e c\u00e1psula interna, foram significativamente mais elevadas nas imagens tratadas com o algoritmo de DL do que nas imagens nativas.\r\n\r\nA an\u00e1lise qualitativa confirmou estes resultados, com classifica\u00e7\u00f5es geralmente melhores de granulosidade, contraste e qualidade global nas imagens tratadas com o algoritmo de redu\u00e7\u00e3o de ru\u00eddo por DL.\r\n\r\nNeste estudo, este algoritmo de redu\u00e7\u00e3o de ru\u00eddo por DL baseado em DICOM reduziu o ru\u00eddo em imagens de RM cerebral de c\u00e3es e gatos a 1,5 T, e a qualidade de imagem percecionada pelos
