The partnership combines Rayvision’s imaging systems with HawkCBCT, HawkCell’s AI solution developed specifically for veterinary CBCT and trained on animal data. Together, the companies aim to offer clinics an accessible path to advanced 3D imaging, combining greater clinical capability with compelling value for money.
Rayvision’s rapid expansion provides a strong foundation for the collaboration. Rayvision has deployed approximately 500 systems in China since 2024, alongside approximately 100 systems internationally. Its growing network of distributors and OEM partners creates an opportunity to extend the reach of AI-enhanced veterinary imaging across established and emerging markets.
The companies see a substantial untapped opportunity among veterinary practices currently relying on digital radiography (DR). Adding CBCT enables these clinics to expand beyond conventional 2D X-rays and access cross-sectional and three-dimensional views of animal anatomy. The shared ambition is to make this step more accessible and economically attractive for everyday veterinary practice.
HawkCBCT is designed to reduce image noise, improve image clarity and soft-tissue visibility, supporting veterinary professionals in interpreting scans with greater confidence. By combining these capabilities with Rayvision’s CBCT platforms, the partnership aims to help clinics obtain more useful information from their examinations and greater value from their equipment investment.
The collaboration will focus on integrating HawkCBCT into Rayvision’s imaging workflow, supporting distributor and clinical education, and gathering feedback from veterinary professionals to guide further development. The objective is to make AI enhancement straightforward to adopt and relevant to the clinical needs of both existing users and clinics investing in CBCT for the first time.
